If you’re going for the true lodge look this lamp will make it happen! Standing 29” tall it’s big, bold, and throws great rustic light for your den, office, family room or even bedroom.

The lamp features an 11” tall elk bull poised on a rocky terrain. Those antlers are 4 ½” long – the statue has true proportion and awesome detail – very realistic! The elk looks like real bronze but it’s actually made from a polystone material hand painted with a bronzing finish. A lamp of this quality in real bronze would be worth hundreds. The antlers are made of a flexible material so they bend slightly to the touch – this is a great feature as they can take some handling without breaking off.

Another neat feature about the elk is that it lifts completely off the base of the lamp! This means you can turn him to face left or right depending on the look you want. You could even get two lamps and face them in opposing directions!

The oval base below measures 9 ¾ long by 7” wide. It like a picture frame and the elk figurine simple fits down over it. The base stands slightly off the table on 4 feet. The electrical tube rises out of the back of the base and bends just over the elk to support the UL listed 3-way maximum 100 Watt bulb fixture. Twist switch.

An 8” harp holds the shade tightly with a solid ball type finial. The shade is oval in shape measuring 18” wide by 14” deep and 10 ½” tall. It’s fantastic quality – with a light tannish-goldish silk fabric stretched tightly over a 6 panel frame – the manufacturer calls the matieral “Cream Dupioni Silk”. The fabric has a very fine vertical texture and contrasts beautifully against the dark bronzed elk below. The interior material of the shade is a goldish color too. Light shining through throws a very mellow gold hue – perfect for a lodge or cabin setting!

This lamp has a really great look – formal in shape, but rustic and a great addition to any hunting or elk country theme.
