Standing about 23” tall, the lamp features a bronzed style bear base. The bear measures about 8” long and stands 5 ½” tall. He’s painted in a high gloss black and stands on top of a rough oval base. A black metal tube rises out of the base to hold the UL Listed push-style switch lamp assembly that’s rated for maximum 60-watt bulbs. A brass harp assembly supports the shade while a jumping trout finial screws on to hold it down. A 5’ brown cord exits the back of the base.
The shade measures 12” wide and stands 8” tall. It features a light tan herringbone cloth outer layer with a stitched design done in hunter green, lime green and dark brown. The design shows a cute lake cottage surrounded by two pine trees and the inscription “Welcome to the Lake” underneath. When turned on, the shade casts a very mellow golden glow – very nice for a rustic lake cottage setting!
Overall this is a beautiful piece – very nicely proportioned and high quality construction! Picture it in your den, family room, bedroom, office, or just about anywhere else you need some rustic accent lighting!
