The base consists of three "Dick Idol Rattling Antlers" screwed together in a random yet perfectly balanced display - they look so great together - just like an authentic antler lamp! Approximately 17" from point to point, the base rests squarely on any flat surface - no wobbling with this lamp - it's very sturdy. The brown electrical cord enters up through the antlers - very nicely concealed. The rustic shade is 12" tall with a 17.5" diameter. Inside it's a thick paper shade, with a faux rawhide covering on the outside. It has nice texture - almost like suade. The shade screws down onto the lamp assembly which accepts standard 60 or 80 watt bulbs.
