This is a really great bear cookie jar - filled with color, detail and character! About the size of a gallon jug and measuring 9.5" high and about 7.5" wide, this bear is ceramic, painted in high gloss black with tan accents - notice the detailed colorations on his face, ears, and even feet! Very cute! He's holding a big pot of baking mixture - what a great way to decorate your kitchen! Very easy to hand wash too - his gloss finish will allow dirt to come off easily.
The neat thing about this piece is that the top separates just under the bear's arms - so the joint is perfectly concealed! If you used him as a desktop decoration no one would ever know it's a cookie jar. But, for use in the kitchen the pot's opening is 3.75" wide, which is perfect for storing oreos, nilly wafers, fig newtons, or any other snacks of your choice! You could even use him for flour, sugar, tea bags - it's up to your imagination!
