Here’s a great addition for your country cabin décor theme – an Americana star lamp!
Standing 21.5” tall this lamp is the perfect size for bedside tables, or accent lighting in a den, living room, or office. It’s constructed of a wood base with a ½” wide metal tube rising up to hold the UL Listed 100 Watt maximum rated standard bulb. The rectangular base measures 8.5” wide, by 5.5” deep and 1 5/8” tall. The poly resin molded star is mounted right onto the tube – it measures 8” from point to point. It’s also three dimensional – about 1.25” wide at the center. Faux rivets are part of the mold – making the star look like it was hand welded.
The whole piece is painted in rustic browns and blacks – click on my photos to see them up close. Above the lamp assembly a standard 6” harp rises to hold the parchment style shade – a black marble screws down over the shade frame holding it tightly to the harp. The shade measures 9” tall by 13” wide at the bottom and 6.5” wide at the top. The shade displays a dark appears tan when turned off – when turned on it displays a rich parchment texture in a great gold color that casts great shadows on the star and base below! The shade of a white plastic inner layer overlaid by the paper on the outside.
