WOW! What a great lamp for any rustic decor theme! Standing just over 58" tall this floor lamp is well-crafted and very attractive! You'll admire it every time you sit down to read and enjoy its light.
The lamp is constructed of metal - the heavy 10" wide base supports a 1" tube which rises to the UL listed lamp assembly above. The tube is constructed of 3 pieces which easily screw together. The metal pine branch is welded onto the top of the tube and hangs down with two pine cones on the side. The metal parts are all powder coated in chocolate for a tough finish. A black felt layer mounted to the bottom protects your floor from scratches.
Check out the pine cones (the ones shown in the picture are on a smaller version of this lamp - but they are the same pine cones)! They measure about 2.25" long and are very realistic. Made of a polyresin material, the simply screw onto the branch. A third pine cone finial screws onto the top of the lamp assembly. They really look great when the lamp is on - the light accents each pine cone making them stand out and very pleasing to the eye.
The socket is rated for 100 Watt standard bulbs. A twist switch turns the lamp on at the socket - so it's easy on/easy off. The 5' brown cord exits the base.
The shade measures 14" at the bottom by 8.5" tall. It's simply rests on top of the brass shade support and the pine cone finial holds it tight. The shade is white plastic with a faux raw hide material stretched over the outside. It is very nice quality and has great texture - it really stands out when the lamp is lit and casts a mellow golden glow on the surroundings. Brown leather strapping is stitched around the bottom of the lamp, giving it an authentic look.
This lamp comes dissambled - it will require some simple assembly - no tools required, just screws the tubes together. You'll love the quality and beauty of it and how easily it will compliment any room in your cabin, lodge or home!
