This is a really neat lamp - it's so unique and perfect for a lodge or cabin decor theme! Reminiscent of the old mountain lodge resort willow chairs, this lamp features both a miniature model of the chair and as well as a great rustic shade! Casting a very warm golden glow the lamp can be used as an accent just about anywhere - on a coffee table, on a mantle, in the hallway, or even a pair for the bedroom. Wherever you choose, picture it as a great conversation piece in your home!
Overall this lamp measures 18" tall. The wood base is 7" by 7" and about 3/4" thick. It is stained in a cherry finish and rests on a foam pad. The chair stands about 7" tall. It is made of real wicker and stained with a brownish antique finish. Check my photos for the details - the piece has been meticulously constructed with tiny nails. It mounts to the base on four tiny dowels.
Rising up out of the back of the base is a browm metal post, which bends inward to hold the shade directly over the chair. The UL listed push switch lamp assembly holds standard bulbs, with the manufacturer recommending no higher than 40 Watts. A 5'6" brown cord exits the back of the base and is well concealed by the chair.<br><br>
Finally the shade - this one measures 7.5" tall and 12" in diameter. It's plastic, but the outer finish has a faux rawhide texture - it's very realistic and a great value compared to the real thing! A double stitched binding around the bottom completes the shade, giving it even more character! Enjoy!
